Full Site Preparation for a New Residential Subdivision
 

Buchanan Crossings is a new residential subdivision in Strathroy, Ontario. Van Bree Enterprises, through its ownership of Klondyke Developments and partial ownership of SLD Group Inc., is proud to play a key role in delivering complete site preparation and civil construction services for this project.
 

Our work began with the careful stripping of topsoil and site grading to prepare the land for development. From there, our team is completing extensive earthworks and underground servicing to support future construction. Pipe work and additional infrastructure installation will follow as the project progresses.

Civil Construction for a Growing Mixed-Use Development in London’s South End
 

The corner of Southdale and Colonel Talbot Rd in London, ON has undergone major changes in recent years. One of the latest additions to the area will be Forest Edge Commons — a new mixed-use development featuring both retail and residential spaces. 
 

Working as a subcontractor for Westdell Development Corporation, the Van Bree Infrastructure team is handling:
 

• Earthworks

• Installing Storm, Sanitary, and Water Services 

• Parking Lot Construction

• Assisting with the Retaining Wall 

• Excavating for Building Foundations excavation for this mixed-use development at Southdale and Colonel Talbot Road.
   

Progress continues at this growing hub in London’s south end.

Foundation Grading for Mid-Rise Apartments
 

Van Bree Infrastructure supported the development of mid-rise apartments by York Developments at 3010 Yorkville Street in London, Ontario, 
 

The VBI team completed critical foundation grading work to prepare the site for construction. This phase involved leveling a layer of crushed stone to create a stable, well-drained base ahead of the concrete pour. A Stone Slinger was used to distribute material evenly from above, while a Skid Steer refined the grade from the ground to meet the required specifications.
 

By ensuring proper grading, we helped establish the conditions necessary for long-term structural support and drainage. With skilled operators and specialized equipment, Van Bree Infrastructure delivered precision groundwork that laid the foundation for a successful build.

Infrastructure and Site Development for a Future Community Space
 

Van Bree Infrastructure supported the development of Noor Gardens in London, Ontario, in partnership with BRL Construction. Once complete, the site will be home to a new Mosque for the local community.
 

Our work began with the careful stripping and removal of topsoil to prepare the land for construction. As the project progresses, our team will deliver a full scope of civil construction services, including:

• Storm, sanitary, and water infrastructure installation

• Parking lot construction

• Pond excavation for site drainage and layout

Site Preparation for a New Medical-Grade Glove Manufacturing Facility
 

Van Bree Infrastructure joined Magil Construction in the early stages of site development for a large-scale manufacturing facility in London, Ontario. Once complete, the facility will produce medical-grade gloves to support healthcare supply across the province.
 

Van Bree crews were brought in to manage a significant portion of the site preparation. This included extensive earthworks—excavating, moving, and reshaping soil and clay to create a level and stable base for construction. Topsoil and clay were stockpiled for future use, minimizing material waste both on- and off-site.
 

Crews also installed key underground infrastructure, including storm sewers, sanitary sewers, and watermains. Additional responsibilities on this project included foundation excavation, backfill, and parking lot construction.
 

With multiple machines and crews working in tandem, the Van Bree teams delivered critical groundwork to support construction of the new facility.

Site Servicing and Foundation Support for a New Development
 

Van Bree Infrastructure was contracted by Southside Group to deliver site servicing for a new development on Lions Street in Dutton, Ontario. 
 

Our work included the installation of storm, water, and sanitary sewer systems, as well as excavation for the building foundation. Once underground servicing and excavation were complete, our team imported gravel and sandfill to support the parking lot and backfill the foundation area.
 

Crews worked hard to position the site for success heading into the new year, ensuring that the building construction team would be able to start strong after the holiday break.

Complete Site Servicing for a Multi-Phase Residential Community
 

Errol Woods is a residential community developed by Van Bree Enterprises in collaboration with our Klondyke Developments team. Construction began in 2019, with our crews completing full site preparation and servicing for all phases of the subdivision.
 

Our work included:

• Site grading

• Underground servicing (storm, sanitary, and water)

• Road base construction
   

Assumption work was completed in 2024, ensuring the subdivision’s infrastructure met municipal requirements for long-term operation and maintenance.
